I am such an animal lover. As a kid, I had rabbits, lots of them, dogs, a cat (once or twice, but my mom is allergic), I rode horses and took lessons, fish, and a desert tortoise to name a few. Now we have a dog, a cat (sorry Mom!), a beta fish, two ducks that have recently adopted our backyard pool, and I have a hummingbird feeder. I love watching the birds from my kitchen window while a wash dishes and cook! Although I really wish we had a chickens, a horse, and a cow… but we live in the city, where land is limited.
I LOVE caring for animals! I find them lovable and beautiful.
I’ve never owned a bird of my own, but I love watching them. Hummingbirds are captivating.
For years I’ve been making my own hummingbird nectar. I started because it is so simple to make and saved me money, I continue because the stuff they sell in the stores is toxic, with Red #40 and preservatives! I believe in caring for Gods creation with love and respect. If I am going to feed them… it’s going to be from His ingredients.
